A Pink-Haired Demon...Two Seasons Early? Chapter 1 By Katelyn E-mail: Katelyn86@lunap.com Okay, I decided to make a funny first season romance about Usagi and Mamoru...and Chibiusa accidentally comes to the wrong time when she's training as SailorChibiMoon. What will happen? Please check out my site! http://sailoralderaan.tripod.com/ Thanks! I am also known as Sailor Alderaan, but I decided to change my name when I write romances instead of dramas, etc, so that people can find them easier... I'm using the Japanese names. Sailormoon doesn't belong to me...it belongs to Naoko Takeuchi and Toei Animation. Long live them and short live DiC!!! Sorry. Anyway, buy fansubs!!! They're better than the dub! See my site for more information... And now, on to the show: *** Tsukino Usagi bounded down the crystal-clear hallway to her classroom in Juuban Junior High - she was late once again and she was tired of it. Her eyes glazed over for a moment as she thought about who she had run into, but her mind forced it away. She walked into class, startling red-haired Haruna-sensei in the middle of a lesson. "Gomen, Haruna-sensei," she whispered to her teacher, sliding into her seat after an apprehensive look at Osaka Naru and Mizuno Ami, her two friends. As Haruna went back to the lesson, Usagi's mind wandered again...to her encounter in the morning. **daydream** Usagi was skipping along down the street, happy that for once she was early enough not to get into trouble with Haruna-sensei, when she turned a corner near Crown's and ran smack dab into someone else. Her wind was knocked out and the first thing she heard when she opened her eyes was the snickering of the other person. "Gomen...nasai?" she whispered, looking up into a pair of seething blue eyes. Gorgeous blue eyes. She gasped, inraptured. "Odango Atama, you've gotta watch where you are going," the owner of the eyes snapped and kicked her books toward her. She looked at her ankle, numb, that had twisted under her in the fall. It was throbbing bright red. "You can't even help a lady, baka?" she snapped. "Mamoru-san, you are worse than I thought." Mamoru grinned a lady-killer grin at this statement. He looked her straight in the eye, bending down to her height. "I do, technically, help ladies out...but you're no lady, Odango Atama!" he laughed again and walked off, not noticing that he had accidentally kicked her book right onto her throbbing ankle. Her eyes welled up...oh, why was he so hot? Why did he always tease her? 'You know you like his teasing,' a voice in her mind reminded her. 'Shut up!' she shouted back at it, gathering her books and hobbling to school on her hurt ankle... **end of daydream** She sat straight up, noticing that Haruna was still explaining Algebra to them. Naru caught her eye and winked, and Usagi looked down at her still-painfully throbbing foot, red inside her shoe. *** Mamoru downed another cup of coffee at the arcade and looked around for Motoki. His friend, strangely enough, was not at his usual post behind the counter at Crown's. Motoki's sister, Unazaki, was there, faithfully pouring coffee and tea to people who wanted it, but where was Motoki-san? He thought back to the encounter with his Odango Atama...his Usako... 'No, don't think that! She hates you!' his mind snapped. 'You could have been nicer and helped her with her foot - she did land on it pretty hard.' 'But if I had helped her,' he argued, 'she would have thought that something was wrong with me.' He sighed, drinking more of the strong coffee, before noticing that Motoki had just entered and was reading a small book. "Motoki-san!" he shouted. "What's that?" "Nani?" he looked up at his friend. "Oh, this is a book on dimensional travel." "You're still READING that?" Mamoru asked. "I lent that to you weeks ago...I never read it, you know..." "It's interesting, Mamoru-san. It hasn't been proven, but scientists believe that time warp and dimension warp is possible." He buried his head in his book again and Mamoru sighed. *** Usagi sat at lunch, waiting for Ami and Naru to come and eat with her. "Ami-chan!" she shouted as she saw her friend with her nose buried in a book. "You've got to eat!" "But, Usagi-chan, I'm only ten chapters ahead!" Ami complained. "I must get ahead at least twenty chapters!" Usagi sweatdropped before she saw Naru heading for where Umino was eating. "Naru-chan!" she shouted. "Come eat!" Naru turned directions and walked toward her Odango-haired friend. "Usagi-chan, I'm going to eat with Umino-kun today, is that all right with you?" she asked. When Usagi started to make smoochy noises, Naru shook her head and giggled before running back to Umino. Usagi sighed and soon found herself daydreaming again. She was window-shopping and she saw a fantastic pair of glass slippers. She remembered the story of Cinderella and desperately wanted her prince to give the slippers to her. She saw herself running through the streets from 10th street shopping until she found one person - Mamoru. "Mamo-chan!" she shouted. He turned, smiling. "Usako..." And she woke, noticing Ami looking at her strangely. "Usagi-chan," she commented in a dry voice, "WHO is Mamo-chan?" "HUH?!" Usagi stood up, surprised. "N-no one, of course!!!" She smiled a confident smile that meant nothing, because her insides felt like jelly, but she pretended that nothing was wrong. "Ami-chan, I think it's time to go...ja ne!" she dashed off, leaving an astonished Ami. *** After school, Usagi dashed through the streets of Juuban to the 10th street shopping. She located the store that she had dreamed of and looked in the window - no slippers. 'How I would love to call Mamoru-san 'Mamo-chan!'' she thought wistfully. 'But he would probably think that I was stupid.' She sagged her shoulders in defeat and rounded a corner - bouncing straight into someone else. She laid on the floor, her hair surrounding her head like a halo, and Mamoru found himself once again instantly in love with the small odango who looked like she'd fit so perfectly into his arms... His thoughts cut off abruptly as she stood, brushing off her absolutely adorable school uniform and muttering, "Gomen nasai." Then she looked up to see Mamoru desperately trying to hold back - either from laughter or from taking her into his arms and kissing the sweet breath out of her, he didn't know. She gave him an icy glare that froze his heart against her again - she could never love him. "Well, odango, nice job!" he snickered. "You have now officially run into me two-hundred zillion times. Give the girl a prize!" he grinned - and stepped back as she stood and slapped him. "I've had a really lousy day!" she snapped. "You stay away from me, you hear me?" she demanded. She stalked away, desperately trying to calm her beating heart, beating LOUDLY, in fact...he had been so close, she had to slap him or she would have kissed him... From an ally a little ways down, a small pink-haired girl with her hair in cone-shaped odangos watched with mute interest. "Puu?" she asked. "What went wrong?" *** Chibiusa followed Mamoru down the street, her trustly Luna ball at her side. "Okay, Luna ball, I've followed Mamo-chan to his apartment, so this isn't THAT different from where I was last, only it looks like Usagi and Mamo-chan are in a fight or I goofed up..." The Luna ball bobbed at the second answer and Chibiusa shot it a dirty look. "We'll find out in a minute, so be patient," she snapped. She looked up at the sky. "Puu, Mama said I was supposed to go to the past and be sailor senshi in training with Usagi - but am I in the past?" She sighed. "Only one way to find out." She ran up and jumped on Mamoru's shoulders. He cried out and whirled around, causing her to drop unceremoniously to the sidewalk. "Oh, lord, another Odango, only this one's a little kid," he muttered. He smiled at her. "Hello there, little girl. What's your name?" "Usagi!" she announced proudly. He shook his head. "I know another odango named Usagi - if you're her then I am seriously going to leave you in the street right here." He turned, wanting the little girl with the pink hair to leave right then and there. Either she didn't take the hint, or she PRETENDED not to take the hint. "But Mamo-chan!" she whined. He whirled and she put her hand over her mouth, mad at herself. "Ba-ka!" "What did you call me?" he grumbled. "How do you know my name, girl? Is this a trick of Usagi's?" "Luna P!" the girl cried. "I made a mistake!" An unidentified flying object knocked into his face, knocking him out cold, as the girl and the...whatever it was escaped. *** Mizuno Ami was just walking along when she came across Mamoru, unconcious from a blow to the head. "Oh, no!" she cried. "Mamoru-san! I'd better call Motoki and the hospital - it's a good thing that my mother is a doctor." She ran to a pay phone and dialed Crown's. "Moshi moshi," Unazaki answered. "Crown's Fruit Parlour and Arcade." "Moshi moshi, this is Mizuno Ami. Is your oji-san there?" she asked. There was a fumbling and then Motoki came on the line. "Moshi moshi, Ami-san. What's wrong?" "Mamoru-san is unconcious down the street from the arcade." "NANI?!" Motoki shouted. "Mamoru? I'll be right there. Domo arigatou, Ami-san." He hung up quickly. Usagi, who was playing her ever-favorite Sailor V game, had silently listened after Motoki had exclaimed 'Mamoru?!'. When he hung up, she turned. "Is something wrong with Mamoru-baka?" she asked. "Ami-san found him unconcious," Motoki answered her. "I'm going there now." He eyed her suspiciously. "You didn't knock him out or anything, did you?" To his surprise, she giggled. "Don't be silly, Motoki-kun!" "You never know," he muttered, hurrying out the door. *** Chibiusa came up upon Crown's and decided to take a look for herself to see if anything had changed. She saw Motoki hurry by at a fast speed and she wondered what had happened before the doors slid open and she saw her future mother frantically bashing at the Sailor V game and muttering to herself. Chibiusa crept closer... "If only I hadn't made fun of him...oh, I hope he's okay...oh, Mamo-chan, what if I DID do something like Motoki-kun said?" she hissed to herself, surprising Chibiusa. She popped up behind Usagi. "Usagi! You like Mamo-chan!" she giggled. Usagi grabbed the girl by the mouth. "WILL YOU HUSH?" she hissed. Then, she got a good look at her attacker. "You're just a girl!" "So are you," Chibiusa replied indignantly. "But you look so much like me..." "I should!" Chibiusa snapped irritably. "I'm your kid!" Usagi took one last look for fading dead away... *** Sorry so short, there'll be more next time. Frankly, I was out of ideas, yet I wanted to get this sent out by ASMR's deadline... Ja ne!
