I've been sitting here for the past... *woaah* how ever long
thinking up on how to make up for how succky chap 4 was. i'mstill
thinking... I'll write... but if it's crap... I apologise. No
promises... HERE GOES~!! ^.^

"Stay sane?" Serena muttered before she walked slowly back into
the kitchen to give Lita the orders of Table Number 12. "Lita?"
	"mm?" Lita looked up from the chopping she was doing.
	"What exactly *are* they doing tonight? how come there's
so man  people here? why is it so form l?" Serena asked curiously
	"W ll... tonight the Sheilds' family is going to present
to us, w ll the people out there, their new plans to build ashopping centre."
	"WHAT? You mean they're *actually* gonna own their own
Shopping centrE???? That's impossible!! what about the CityCentral Mall???"
	"they're taking over that Silly girl!"
Serena sighed. These people had so much money, they could splash
it and flash it around in so  any ways, and she was just a
victim. She had given up her dream room for a small, confined
room. She had broken up with her boyfriend James, who she had
dated for two years, just before she applied for this job. Sure,
the money was good, she could do heaps... no make it *a lot*
with that type of money. But was it *really* worth it? If she
had applied, an stuck with a job working at the shopping centre,
she would still be at home, and not sweating, and killing her
feet to death trying to please a man who absolutely tore aparther world.
On the postive side, Mina had probably met her dream man, she
could afford almost anything she wanted, unlimited shoppign
sprees, and she got the chance to mingle with the uppder class
people. It was as though all her dreams were fulfilled, but not
in a good way. Not in the way she had dreamed. How she would
fall in love, with a handsome man, they would marry and have a
baby, and they would become wealthy posh people, and she would
be able to actualyl shop without bothering with the prices.

"Uh... miss... where's Miss Saffron?" Rei was stopped in the
middle of serving out drinks to table number 22 when a man
tapped her shoulder. She turned around and met a pair of dark
ocean blue eyes. "Oh, Mr Shields. Um, Miss Klien called earlier,
she's goign to be late." A look of dissapointment flashed
across his face before her quickly turned around. "Ok. Back off
to work now Miss Hino" as he brushed past her.
Quickly she served the drinks before she stormed off into the
kitchen. A startled blonde and brunette jumped in fright as
the raven haired girl burst out in outrage. "OF ALL THE NERVE!"
	"Rei... what's wrong?" Serena asked as she cautiouslyapproached her.
	"Yeah, Whats happened to get you so steamed?" the brunette
asked. Rei put on amocking voice "Where's Saffron? Where's
Saffron? Where's *queen* saffron? Where's Miss. Klien? URGH! I'm
so sick of it! I'm sickof the way people treat her like a queen.
*just because* she's lasted the longest with Darien! It's so
annoying! It pisses me off! Can they *GET A LIFE* already? Don't
they understand I don't *care* where Saffron is and I can't
keep takign time out to jot down where lil miss *popularity* is
going every moment. *don't they understand that?*" Rei took in
a deep breathof freash air. "don't worry Rei. I'm sure he'll
find someone else." Serena put her arm aroudn Rei. "I mean, he's
a cow, and a snopb, and eveyrthign else a dream guy isn't...
well minus the fact he's cute. *but* I mean, He deserves
everything he gets. He's a cow." She sighed. "Anyways! I'm off
to serve these drinks to *our* Mister Popularity... I'm
Outtie!" And she winked before she swiftly exited the kitchen.
	"I wonder what she means" Rei said quietly.

	"thats your red wine mister"	"And yours"	"And yours"	"And another red wine"
	"red Wine"	"red wine"	"red wine"	"and yours"	"and a red wine for Mr. Grey"
A loud thump proceeded this, and She said through gritted teeth
	"And your *water* MISTER *shields*. Enjoy your night with
*saffron*" Before she quickly walked back towards the kitchen.
[Shiesh! whats up with her?] Darien thought as he shook his head
as he watched her dissapear into the foyer before he
turned around to continue the conversation on his table.

Just as Serena was about to take thenext turn to enter the
kitchen, a familiar chime started to ring. [... the doorbell]
She looked around for Eagor, but he was nowhere to be seen. He
was obviously busy helping a guest to his table or something.
Serena quickly smoothed down her skirt before she opened the
door. "Good evening, and welcome to the Sheilds' household."
before she smiled her best smile. There, standing rigth in front
of her was Saffron Klien. Famous Singer, actress, supermodel.
She was tall, slim, and beautiful. She had shoulder length brown
hair, which she had left down today and sparkling green emerald
eyes. She was 22 this year, and already a *huge* sucess all over
the world. Tonight she was wearing a sleek black dress, with a
silky black wrap. She walked elegantly inside before turning
around and snapping at Serena "WELL! Don;t just *stand* there,
get a move on" Serena quickly led her in. "This way Miss Klien."
She led her to Darien's table before tapping on his shoulder.
"Um, Mr. Shields, your guest has arri..." Before she could
finish her sentence she was interuppted by a loud voice over
powering her. "DARIEN! DARLING!! i've missed you!" and there
was Saffron al over Darien. She was hugging and kissing him all
over. Serena turned around and walked off before hearing Saffron
say something to Darien. "What's with her, she's sucha cold nasty
servant. Why can't you hire people more like me Darien? She's
sucha twit!" She exclaimed with glee. Serena heard all this,
and stormed angrily into the kitchen.
	"TWIT! CANT YOU BELIEVE IT? SHE CALLED ME A *TWIT*!!"
	"Who did? Sere! who did?" Mina asked worriedly.
	"Your future husband's cousin's wife!" She screeched
	"You mean that cow Saffron? She's here?" Lita asked as she
finished garnishing the last bowl of soup.
	"Yeah! she's here, I try to be polite, and what do I get?
to watch her suck faces with my Cow. Personally, I think they
make a wonderful couple!" Serena said before storming out toserve the soup.

that night, Serena and Mina rushed quickly into Mina's room
and plopped onto the bed. "Oh my god. I'm *so* tired!" Serena
exclaimed as she threw her shoes off and grabbed a towel. "Tell
me about it!" Mina lay still onthe bed. "Hey, Sere, Ready to gohome tommorrow?"
Serena called from the shower "YUP! definitely! beats this joint!"
she called as she turned off the water. "Ok Mina, your turn"
The blonde sat down and dried her hair as the other one enteredthe bathroom.

Early the next morning, the two blondes hailed a cab to go home.
They had plans to meet Sandy and their new 'room mate' today.
And it was also a plus to get out of the house. Just as they
were about to leave, a familiar voice called out to them. Eagor
walked into the foyer. "Ladies, unfortunately, Master Darien is
required to attend a meeting in Japan, and you will be
required to stay for an extra two hours to help him pack for
the occasion." he nodded and exited.
Two sweatdrops appeared on their heads. "OH MY GOD! urgh! another
hour with the cows from hell!" Serena whined, just to see Darien
walk down the stairs in a navy blue suit. He looked very smart
indeed, he had his hair styled nicely and a lightert blue shirt
with a metaillic dark blue coloured tie.
"Morning ladies, I will require you to pack 5 suits into my
suitcase, pyjamas, toiletries, you get the hitch..." He paused
for a moment to look around the room. "I think this requires
some dusting." He walked towards the pot plant at the door and
burshed his finger along the leaves. "Mmmmhmm.. definitely. You."
He pointed at Mina. "Dust the foyer, and You" He pointed towards
Serena. "Pack my bags, BUT, I don't want you to start packing
until you see Saffron leave the room. I don't want you to disturb
her. Understood?" He asked firmly "Hai, I understand Mr. Shields."
Serena nodded before she hurried up the stairs and sat by the pot
plant outside his room waiting for Saffron to wake up. She sat
there for exactly 1 hour and 38 minutes until saffron came walking
out in a robe. "What on *earth* are you doing?" She asked in a
bitchy tone. "I have to pack for Ms. Shields buisness trip."
Serena said as she starte tyo walk in the room before a arm stuck
out and blocked the doorway. "Not sooo fast." Saffron eyed her.
I'll  pack for him... *thank-you* you very much." she added
before she slammed the door closed. "Good fornothing cow" serena
muttered as she staretd down the stairs. When she got to the
bottom she was greeted by Mina. "Darien wants you to see him in
his study... I think he's kinda ... um.. pissed."
Serena sighed "O.. kaay... Man, Mina, I'm so huffed, I'm tired,
sleepy, I'm having a crap time. I thinkI'm gonna resign."
	"NO! You can't do that! who's gonna keep me company?"
	"Yeah, well, Mina, It's not working out the way I planned
and he's using me as his slave. I'm just not up to it. And I
can manage without the money, I always have I always will."
Serena sighed through he tired eyes. They were lifeless and dull.
She had bags under her eyes, and she had lost her usual cheery
personality. Even Andrew noticed and asked Mina about it when he
had passed her earlier on in the day.
	"Well.. here goes nothing!" Serena smiled a tired smile
She knocked twice before a voice called through the door.
	"Come in!" the door creaked "Ah! Serena." He smiled, a
lopsided smile, Serena remembered when she first saw this smile.
IT was a smiel to die for. A Smile any girl would kill to see.
"I've been hearing off Saffron, your manners have not been up to
standard. I want to see improvement. Or else.. I unfortunately
will have to dismiss you from our group of staff" he flickered
his pen around "By the way, where is my suitcase?"
	"It's gettignpacked by Saffron" Serena said regretfully as
she walked out of the room.	"Sere! What's happening?" Mina ran up to her friend
	"Saffron's been tellign him I've been doin a sloppy job"
	"How can she?! You've been working your butt off for the
last two  and a half days you've been here!"
	"Yeah, well, obviously it's not good neough for them,
c'monm Mina Let's go." Serena sighed as they left the house andgot in the cab.

"Hey Serena!! hey Mina!!" a Cheerful voice called out from over
the bridge. "How's your job going?"	"Shotty."
	"shotty? How? You sounded really cheerful that morningyou called me."
	"Yeah, well, it would be shotty if you keeo getting told
off by Darien's slut of a girlfriend." Serena spat bitterly
	"Oh... Anyways, this is Lizzy, she works at the Crown
arcade, she'll be the one movin into your aartment."
both blondes shook hands with the red head. "Nice to meet ya
Lizzy!" Mina smiled. "C'mon, let's go check out our apartment
now." Serena and Sandy walked briskly as they talked about the
job. While Mina and Lizzy trailed behind as they 'got to knoweach other'.
They got to a tall apartment block, they entered into the foyer,
it was a very basic foyer, even though the apartment was one of
the best in the area. There was a dark green mable floor and a
black marbl reception table. Mina pressed the button for the lift
a few times. It was an antique lift. It had gold trimmings and
a poshy bitof red carpet inside. When they got in, Mina pressed
the button for the 7th floor.
The hallway was well lit and cosy. "Ahah! apartment 38" Mina cried
with delight. "Ahhh How I miss home" She sighed. Sweatdrops appeared
on all the girls head. It was a mess. A jungle. It was *gross*
"Hehe.. well I apologise for the mess" Mina blushed. "Well, why
dun we just take a quick look at Lizzy's room, and we'll move
Sere's stuff and then you can move in tomoz liz!" Mian exclaimed.
By the end of the day, Serena's old room was cleared, and most of
her stuff was in Mina's room by now. Luckily, bothof the girls
has owned double beds, so they wouldn't be cramped up in a singlebed.
"*pheW* that was hard work!" Sandy plopped herself on the couch
"OPUCH! what was that?" she sat up, surely enough, there was a
bottle of nail polish she had just sat on. "Hey, how bout we
order some pizza? My shout!" Lizzy picked up the phone and
dialled for Domino's pizza. "one supreme, one hawaiian delivery,
phoen number, thats 875 3456, yup, yup thats the address. Ok
thankyou" and she hung up the phone. "Well, here we are, hey Sandy,
why duncha stay tonight? you can share a bed with me!" Lizzy
seemed so happy. She was what Serena used to be, before Darien
ran her down. "I guess, my roommate's having her boyfriend over
anyways." all four girls nodded in agreement.

The four layed in the living room floor onthe plush cream carpet.
	"Gee, he's a pretty big arsehole!" The red haired said
as she tossed to her side.	"Tell me about it." Sandy sat up
	"But..." serena just continued to lay there, not bothering
to finish her sentence.	"But what?" Mina was curious. What was her best friend
thinking?	"I think.... I think I've fallen for him" Serena whispered
	"WHAT?" the three other girls all sat up, shocked atwhat they had just heard.
	"But... how?" Mina asked
	"He was such a sweetie at first. I think.. I think it's
Saffron who's controlling him."
Everyone knew Saffron and Darien were an on off thing. everytime
Darien always ended up goign back to her.

	"Have fun guys!" Sandy and Lizzy Chimed	"Pft.. as if" Serena muttered
	"ANDREW BAYBEE!" Mina cried before their taxi drove offinto the distance.

The cab came to a stop in front of the grand mansion. It was
exactly 8pm and the girls were earlier than expected. They were
greeted at the door ugently by Eagor.
A usually calm voice panicked. His hair was a mess. "I'm so
glad you are back Miss, The Master Came back with many Japanese
guests and We need *someone* to help serve the food! most of
the trained employees are still not back."
"Sure, just let us shuck our stuff down and change and we'll be
down in the kitchen." Mina grabbed Serena by the wrist as they
ran up stairs. They split at the hall as they rushed into
seperate wings and came down again later presented in poshy
formal wear. They both had authentic asiain dresses on. Serena
a white one, and Mina a gold one.
After they served the meals, they were dismissed, Saffron hadn't
shown up today seeing she had broken up with Darien in the short
period of 2days. Mina had gone off to accompany andrew, while
Serena was left all alone. she walked outside. It was a cool
night and the wind blew her hair around.
she sa t in the gazebo listening to the violinists play and the
laughter in the room, and started humming, it was oblivious to
her the tune that they were playing was 'all my life' by K-ci &
JoJo. She hummed along with the soft melody in the background.
"I will never find another loversweeter than you,sweeter than you,
and I will never find another lovermore precious than youprecious than you....."
And she dozed off to the cool breeze.

Inside... Darien had finsihed, and most of the guests would be
staying in the guestrooms built on the third floor. The guests
were still hustling around laughin, drunk, dancing, and Mina
and Andrew had dissapeared into another room. Outside the wide
screen doors, Darien could see a figure, dressed in white
sitting in the gazebo. He walked outside. It was gettign cold now.
As he approached what now looked like a sleeping blonde, her
slim arms wrapped around herself keeping her warm. [She does look
beautiful, like an angel.] he smiled to himself as he approached
her and took off his jacket and covered her.
There he stood for what seemed liek forever, looking at the
sleeping form huddled up under his jacket. She looked so small,
so fragile, and there in her past few days here, he had worked
her to death. He examined herface more carefullyl, she looked
tired, worn, and the 'joy' her presence carried was gone. A
sharp pain stabbed in Darien, he felt guilt, had he done somuch damage to her?
There she curled up in a bundle, she looked so helpless. Darien
gatehred her up in his arms. She fit so perfectly, but she was
cold. she mumbled a few words out... they were barely audible,
but he could hear it. "No.. darien.. no.. don't go..no.."
Her eyes fluttered open, and she saw what seemed liek Darien.
"dArien? is that you? I must be dreaming" She giggled as she
closed her eyes. As he got in the house, he didn't, he just
couldn't let her sleep in the tiny, small room. He felt a pang
of guilt and carried her into the west wing. He twisted the
doorknob, there was the room she was first greeted by. He looked
at it now, it seemed so cold and lifeless, a completely different
feel from when he had opened it to find out she had been livingin the room.
He lay her down on the bed and tucked her in. She looked so
vulnerable, and he could have taken advantage of this moment.
He closed his eyes as he sat down onto the edge of her bed
and kissed her on her forehead. "Goodnight... my angel"
She mumbled a reply back "Good night my prince" before shetossed onto her side
He walked out of the room and closed the door. It had then
occured to him he had said *my* princess. He hummed quietly
as he walked back to his room. Had he finally met his Angel?
